Monthly Traffic
What do hosting providers mean by stating ?monthly traffic??
The monthly traffic feature, that is sometimes also called bandwidth or info transfer, identifies the full amount of info which can be uploaded to your web hosting account and downloaded from it monthly. The traffic is produced mainly by site visits - every time somebody finds your site, the webpages they see are downloaded from your hosting server to his or her computer system or smartphone and they're shown by the browser. What counts towards the web site traffic generated is the overall size of these pages, so the more site visitors you get for a given period of time, the more website traffic will be generated. In addition to the site visits, file uploads will also be counted towards the total monthly transfer i.e. when you upload web site content or other files using a file manager or an FTP software, they'll also generate some traffic. The counter resets on day one of each month and it is not related to the date you've subscribed or the date you've renewed the web hosting package.

Monthly Traffic in Web Hosting
Our
Linux web hosting were designed with the concept to take care of the traffic produced by any type of website that can function in such an account. When you currently have one or a couple of small-scale or medium-sized websites, you'll not be limited by the monthly traffic quota no matter what content you have - plain text or perhaps a great number of images, for instance. The statistics in the hosting Control Panel will provide you with comprehensive details about the traffic generated by each web site and the amount for your account as a whole. The stats are updated in real time and show both the everyday and the monthly usage, therefore you will be aware of how much info is transferred to and from your website hosting account at any moment. The first day of every month your counter is reset, but you'll be able to view the site traffic stats for the previous months, which will inform you on how your web sites perform.
